David's Testimony
David grew up in Martinsville, Indiana, attending church with a ministry-oriented family. He came to saving knowledge of Christ at age 7 after a Children’s Church lesson and was baptized a year later. His mom was a music teacher and made sure David was involved in music in church as much as possible.
In high school, he surrendered to full-time ministry in whatever form that would take. He attended Maranatha Baptist University, studying music, with the goal of serving God in music ministry wherever God would send him.
Hannah's Testimony
Hannah grew up in Roulette, Pennsylvania, also attending church with a ministry-oriented family. Her parents have run God’s Adventure Camp on their farm for over 30 years, so Hannah grew up involved in every conceivable way in camp ministry.
She accepted Christ as Savior when she was 6, after her mother answered questions she had at home. She grew up with a heart to serve the Lord, and went off to MBU to study Cross-Cultural Studies (Missions). She wasn’t sure exactly what God wanted for her, but she was willing to follow His leading.
Our Testimonies
We met at college, and dated for 5 years before getting married after David graduated in 2021. In that time, we both finished our degrees and had other opportunities. Hannah interned at Harvest Deaf Ministries in Georgia for a summer, before moving to Indiana to work for Tabernacle Christian School after her graduation.
David worked at Bulldog Summer Camp (based out of Brentwood Baptist Church in the suburbs of Chicago) for 5 summers, as well as serving as assistant/music minister at Kettle Moraine Baptist Church in Wisconsin for 3 years.
